On August 17th, Goleta (town after Santa Barbara) Beach Park will host the next Bike and BBQ ride. Enjoy the ocean breeze and mostly flat terrain to Santa Barbara Harbor, some climbing into the Montecito Hills with the option to go up Gibraltar Road, return to Goleta Beach at 12:30 for a delicious BBQ. Enjoy veggie or carnivore friendly hamburgers and grilled corn on the cob, etc. Route- Goleta to Santa Barbara Harbor, Montecito Foothills (East Mountain Drive), Goleta approximately 30 miles, (additional side loops for those who think 30 miles isn’t enough or want to do more climbing; shorter version available for those who think 30 miles is crazy long and want to do less climbing) Goleta Beach Park has a great firepit and cooking area perfect for BBQing and terrific ocean (and island) views. In an age of inflation and shrinkflation we are proud to keep the price steady at $10 with heaping plates of food.
