Hello SYVCC
Hope to see you on one of the two group Saturday rides tomorrow. B ride rolls at 9:05 and the A Ride at 9:15a from Solvang Park. Routes tomorrow will be determined by the groups that show up. Look out for the route for the WNR on Strava, this ride has been growing each week, come out and give it a try!
If you ordered clothing for the 2nd order, it’s looking like the end of April for arrival. We will have extras, I will send out a separate email with what will be for sale.

Upcoming Club Team TT
Ciao! The very far western version of La Corsa Rosa is right around the corner – And we need you on the start list!
We are hoping to have 7 balanced teams of 6 riders each of varying abilities. Your Team time will be a average of all the riders on your team, so everyone’s contribution helps.
Teams will be announced Sunday May 10th
This year, the Giro d’ SYV will occur from May 11 – May 17. It will comprise of one segment that each participating rider can ride with others. Gift cards will be provided to the top 3 teams courtesy of our generous sponsor, Dr. J’s Bike Shop. Additionally, the Maglia Rosa 👚 (also a Dr. J gift card) will be awarded to the fastest overall male and female rider. Here is the segment we will be competing on:

Space Force Classic
The club is one of the sponsors for this years Space Country Classic out at Vandenberg SFB on May 9th. Club Member Drew Schlieder is coordinating the ride and is offering us a club discount code to SYVCC members . We had a number of club members participate last year and it was a beautiful ride with amazing pavement and almost zero cars. You have a great opportunity to see parts of our coastline that are only accessible by doing this event. We are hoping to have a great showing of club members this year wearing their SYVCC Kits!
