Ciao! The very far western version of La Corsa Rosa is right around the corner – And we need you on the startlist! We have 36 riders signed up, it would be a record if we got to 40!
Teams will be announced Sunday April 27th
This year, the Giro dā SYV will occur from May 5 – May 18. It will comprise of two segments that each participating rider needs to ride – 1 segment you can ride with others, and 1 individual segment you ride alone. Gift cards will be provided to the top 3 teams courtesy of our generous sponsor, Dr. J’s Bike Shop. Additionally, the Maglia Rosa š (also a Dr. J gift card) will be awarded to the fastest overall male and female rider. Here are the segments we will be competing on:
A few notes: -Be safe! You are responsible for your own safety. -Be a good representative of cycling in the valley (be courteous to drivers) -Strava is our source of truth for these competitions. You will need to have your effort uploaded to Strava, so make sure your GPS bike computer is charged, or have your strava app track the ride. -No drafting on the individual segment, only the team one. -In the last few TT’s, the winning teams have been separated by less than 30 seconds, so it’s always really close. -Encourage your fellow SYVCC Members
