2025 SYVCC Thanksgiving Day Ride 🍗
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so plan on getting the holiday off to a fun start by joining us on the annual SYVCC Thanksgiving Day Ride!
When: Thanksgiving Morning, November 27th at 9:00am
Where: Meet at the Flag Pole in Los Olivos.
Route: We’ll head out on a no-drop group ride along Figueroa Mountain Road to the base of the climb. Most will turn back at that point, but some may continue up the road to the Ranger Station.
Important Notes:
Even though they’ve filled in some of the potholes, the road after the Lovers Loop trailhead is still in rough condition, especially with the recent storms. It’s recommended to bring a bike with wider tires and lower pressure if you are going to tackle the ride to the Ranger Station.
All skill levels are welcome! The ride will be a no-drop, relaxed pace, with plenty of time to enjoy the views.
Helmets are required. It’s recommended to bring water and fuel, especially if you plan on climbing.
Come out, enjoy the ride, and get in some fresh air before the Thanksgiving festivities kick into full swing. Feel free to bring your family and friends along for the ride!
