Hello SYVCC Great job to everyone who is participating in the TT this July. Some greats efforts and support for the riders on Strava. We have a little over a week to go for everyone to get in all the segments or improve on your times. We have updated the club Web Site to help incorporate the rides and more up to date information about the club and our activities. See link below https://syvcc.org Provisional TT times Here are the current standing for the Tour De SYV. Team Action Roofing has jumped ahead to 1st place over Team Cafe Dolche. Team BKO Law is holding on to 3rd place for now with Team Giordana not far behind them. Good luck this week! Provisional Tour de SYV Results For the WNR we are going to do the Ballard Segment one more time as a group this week. We will do a warm up on Fredensberg Canyon before. Meet at the shop at 4:15. After the ride the group is going to meet at the Draughtsmen in Solvang for a drink.
- Stage 2** – Ballard Canyon from the Chalk Hill stop sign to the top of the climb. 5.4 mi / avg 1.6% grade
For The Saturday Group rides next week we are going to do the Segment that starts at the Round About one more time as a group, no stopping at the usual first re group stop. Then the rest of the usual Valley Loop route to finish the rides.
- Stage 1** – Roundabout to Roblar – for the sprinter; 8.5 mi / avg 0.2% grade
Club BBQ - Saturday Aug 5th 1p-4p At Hans Christian Andersen Park in Solvang. We are trying to get a approximate head count, so shoot me a email if you can make it, or we have a RSVP on our club Strava page as well.
- All SYVCC members and Family/Guests are invited to attend
- Tour De SYV Prizes and tee shirts for all club members will be handed out.
- Club will provide all food and drinks.
